Welcome to the 2026/27 edition of Discover Britain's Museums, Galleries & Heritage Attractions - for Groups. We hope the easy to read style and format will continue to be useful when you're planning any outings in the future. Make 2026/27 the year for a visit to as many of the places inside this book as possible.

Many of the attractions are free of charge or available to visit at very reasonable rates so we hope you enjoy the many wonderful hidden gems to visit. They are all keen to welcome you through their doors and give your group a unique day out to remember. Please don't forget to mention the guide or the web site www.discoverbritainsmuseums.com when making any enquiries, alternatively you can also fill in the individual Museums request form you received with the book. Like many of our museums we can also offer a free of charge service and will happily forward any individual museum information from the guide we can source.
