Tatton Park

Located in the heart of Cheshire, Tatton Park is one of the most complete historic estates in Britain and features an elegant 18th century mansion, rare-breed farm, beautifully
landscaped gardens, and a medieval old hall, all set within 1000 acres of stunning parkland. The Mansion, home to the Egerton family, houses one of the National Trust's finest libraries and an outstanding collection of Gillows of Lancaster furniture.

Celebrating 150 years of Maurice Egerton at Tatton Park

In 2024 Tatton Park are celebrating 150 years of Maurice Egerton, (1874- 1958) who was the last owner and generation of the Egerton family. One of the most fascinating members of the family, Maurice, a pioneer aviator, a man of great inventive and technical skill:
fascinated by flight, photography, filmmaking, radio, and early motoring, he was a great traveller, as his collection today reveals. Visit the mansion in 2024 and can get up close to Maurice's fascinating treasures from around the world in two new exhibitions and discover his special legacy.

Group Visits

Group visits at Tatton are truly special. With so much to see and do, you won't be stuck for inspiration. The estate is conveniently located just off the M6. There's dedicated free coach parking, easy access to facilities and a welcoming Stables Restaurant or Tea room for refreshments, as well as gift and garden shops stocked with local artisans and estate
produce.
